How it Works

Solarize Tompkins SE is committed to reducing costs to the participant.  We will select an installer(s) to provide the site assessment, design, equipment procurement, and installation services for participants. The selected firm(s) will provide a single pricing structure for all participants, depending on total capacity of the project. For our first campaign, we will be focusing on Solar PV and Solar Hot Water. Solarize Tompkins SE is open to all area home and business owners, farmers, institutions and municipalities in the towns of Caroline, Danby, and Dryden.

Workshops and Informational Q&A Sessions

Project managers will offer a range of Information Q&A Sessions and educational workshops in order for you to make an informed decision about going solar.

What to Do & What to Expect

1) Attend a public outreach Q&A session and the educational workshops to ask questions! There are now 5 events scheduled. Go to Calendar
2)  Spread the Word! Tell your family and friends about the program. See our downloads page for advertisements to download and distribute. The only way to maximize your reduced costs is by having as many participants as possible complete a solar energy system installation. The more systems installed, the bigger your savings!

3) Enrollment is now open  and will be offered for a limited time only! 
Enrollment will close on June 15.
